Not every day do I look into the mobiles available on Amazon India. And you might not have seen me reviewing any mobile phone at all. I am not too technically savvy to be able to compare mobiles and their specifications. This is why I keep away from actually talking about mobile phones.
But then, I am getting a lot of queries from friends and the internet about phones, off late. So, I thought to create a list of top 10 mobile phones, purely based on secondary research on the internet. Amazon reviews helped a lot too. This is exactly how I buy my phones too.
I think it will be a good idea to start reviewing mobile phones with the one that I am holding in my hand right now. Which mobile phone do I use? Stop reading any further and comment your guess. Check it later once you read also and tell me if you were right.
There were a lot of talks about this phone or the brand. Many of my friends do not like Xiaomi for various reasons, and a few make fun of its users and makers. In spite of all these, I am still using the phone, and it has been a good friend to me.
Let me tell you about a few things that I always look into as a user before I buy a new phone. I will review my phone based on these features here.
With my phone, I record videos for my YouTube channel. The video recording on Redmi Note 4 is really impressive. And I am not comparing with the latest phones, but when I bought the video quality of this phone was one of the bests.
If you are recording outside, in broad daylight, then the videos come out very crisp and impressive (those are the adjectives I know for video quality).
However, in low light or in artificial light, the quality is not too good. If you are looking for creating Udemy course videos or professional videos indoors, you might need a lot of artificial lights.
Those were not bad in any way. And talk about the selfies. With this phone, you can take a lot of mind-blowing selfies. The front camera has a beauty mode, which helps in the cause as well. Even videos with the front camera are excellent!

I think this is incredible. I play a lot of games. I read books on Kindle. I watch a lot of YouTube videos. I listen to songs on Gaana all day! And after all this, I get a day or a little more of life.
My wife says that I am always on the phone. My friends say that I am still on WhatsApp and Facebook. And I think they are not entirely wrong. So, I use this a lot. And this is why I think the battery life of this phone is just brilliant!
I actually upgraded from Redmi 2, which had 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory, I guess. And this message of "low on memory" was a daily issue. Gone are those days, fortunately!
So, this is my review of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 phone. I hope you like it. It is a shame that the old model is not available on Amazon anymore. However, there is a certified refurbished unit available if you want to check it out.
With this, let me get into the real list of top 10 mobile phones. I am keeping the price limit to INR 15000 because this is the price range where I buy my mobile phones. I never bought any phone costlier than that.

Which phone do I use?
The mobile phone that I use is a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Yes! This is what I am using for almost two years now, and I am still loving it.There were a lot of talks about this phone or the brand. The image quality is also good. It is not great, I agree, but I have taken all of my images in the past two years using this phone. I have covered many places across India and Thailand, and the photos are there on my Facebook page for everyone to see.Those were not bad in any way. And talk about the selfies. Battery Life
The other thing that I need to mention is the battery life of this phone. I remember when I bought, it smoothly went for about 3 days without me having to charge it. That has decreased considerably now, but still, I get one full day of battery life even after 2 years of usage.I think this is incredible. I play a lot of games. I read books on Kindle. Inbuilt ROM & RAM
My phone has 32GB of inbuilt memory and 4GB RAM, and that is more than sufficient for installing all the apps that you need, and a few big games too.
