Another Series win over Sri Lanka has paved the second spot in the ICC ODI ranking for India. Three cheers for Mahi and his team! They worked hard and fought well for the win, as well as moving up the ladder. The T20 match today in Colombo was too good too – the first ever international T20 match in Sri Lanka. It was a very good fight which every cricket lover wants to see in a cricket match. The teams were well balanced; however, Sri Lankan’s bowlers disappointed somewhat. They managed to strangle Indian top and middle order but the Pathan brothers came out triumphant. The 59 runs winning partnership came in mere 25 balls. Bravo! I was in office, so could not follow the entire match; but then, when it was 6 balls and 5 runs to get, I ran downstairs to the TV room and watched those two balls by Malinga. What a shot Irfan! The second ball flew and flew high into the crowd and everybody was looking at each other, as if they could not believe that the match was over and India won. Best of luck mates … reach the top at the earliest and show us where we belong!
