Wish you all a very Happy, safe and Prosperous Diwali! This has been a good Diwali for India. It was the second One Day match between India and Pakistan. 
Sachin Tendulkar scored 99 (for the 5th time this year and 23rd time in his career, he got out in the nineties) and India made 321 runs in 50 overs. Pakistan successfully chased the target with a ball remaining! In other news from cricket, Anil Kumble was declared to be the next (30th) Test Captain for India. He did not have to appeal for it; the selectors were a bit more inclined on him. It was a nice Diwali Gift for the ageing cricketer, but for many it was a shocking decision. Today, the two big chartbusters were released – Om Shanti Om and Saawariya. OSO, starring Shahrukh Khan and the 
new face Deepika should give a good fight to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya. What happens at the Box Office is a separate thing all together. Whatever happens, this Diwali has been a memorable one! Hope you enjoy every bit of it…
