Swadeekhaap!

In this post, I am going to talk about a recent event. Many of you know already that I went to Thailand in the recent past – last week, to be exact. This was my first international trip along with the family. The trip was awesome as we were able to do a lot of things and be present there at the time of their New Year function – Songkran. We saw so many things and learned a lot too. I am going to talk about all those on this blog so that it helps people who want to know more or learn about Thailand.

However, this post is a teaser, in which I will only list out the things that I am going to write about in the future posts. I will include the things that I will write about and use this list as a guide for the future articles that I write too. It is going to be fun as I will try to incorporate as much information as I can and cover my entire trip step by step, as and when things happened. I am sure you will love reading the posts. Do write in your comments and I will be happy to see your excitement as well.

In the future posts, I am going to cover my entire trip to Thailand – Bangalore to Bangkok. This is the name of this series. I liked this name as it occurred to me, though we have traveled to Pattaya as well. I will start with the planning of my trip and then slowly move into the execution of that – how we actually went about from Bangalore to Bangkok and then to Pattaya and then back home. I will try to include as much information as I can and make the travel log interesting too, with the weird things we did and places that we visited. I am sure you will be thrilled.

Planning:

I will start the log with information from our planning period. I will talk about how we bought air tickets, how we booked hotels etc. Then, I will talk about the legalities of the Passport, VISA, documents that you need to carry along etc. This information will be very important to those who are looking to plan their travel in recent future. Information is latest that I will share and hence, it will be a perfect place to obtain all that you need to know in one particular place – The Indian Freelancer blog.

Once after the planning is done, I will move to the actual trip. We will see how the trip was actually executed and how we went from Bangalore to Bhubaneshwar and then to Bangkok and Pattaya and back home. It was a long journey and there are a lot of things that you better know before you plan your trip.

Execution, the actual trip:

The first journey was from our home in Bangalore to Bhubaneshwar, Odisha where we had to take the international flight. Yes, it was not a non-stop flight and we had to change over in Bhubaneshwar that day. Next, we went to Bangkok from there on the same date and in the same flight as well. I will talk about what we did upon arrival at Bangkok and how we reached our hotel.

Then I will talk about things that we did in Bangkok – the places we went to and experienced. I will also add a few things that we could not do due to lack of time and intentions. These will help you in your planning for sure.

The next thing is the travel from Bangkok to Pattaya, the sex capital of the world. Well, at least a few think it is. I will tell you about our experience of the journey – how we reached there. I will talk about things we did in Pattaya and places that we visited as well. I will also talk about our hotel, where we stayed. It was awesome, just to tell you now.

Throughout the stay, Songkran was following us from Bangkok to Pattaya. Why do I say, “following” when it is a national festival? Well, you will get to know about it in the articles too. It was fun!

At the end of the travel log, I will tell you how we came back to Bangalore from Pattaya, what all we went through in the journey and how we survived 30 hours of travel without sleep. It was tough on my family, though we did it with a smile on our faces.

All these are coming up on this blog. So, stay tuned and keep reading Bangalore to Bangkok travel series. Exciting time ahead!

Cheers!
