Yahoo Answers is a good place to spend some quality time. I joined a year ago; but never had spent time until today. Its good and the Point System is also cool. I said quality time because its always a two way process there. Give and take and high 
transfer of knowledge! Every second you spend there, you learn something. So, give it a try and keep answering questions. Go ASK, ANSWER and DISCOVER!
Best thing is that I am getting more time to spend around and browse the net after I left Orkut. That was a god decision. Hence proved!
